Great Australian Bight Alliance DEMO
With Equinor abandoning its plans to drill in the Great Australian Bight,
the immediate threat from oil exploration is gone.
The people have clearly demonstrated they want the Bight protected from oil drilling,
and it is time for the Australian Government to provide permanent protection.
We call upon the Australian Government to listen,
and permanently protect the unique waters of the Great Australian Bight from drilling.
The next stage of the GAB Alliance campaign will be focussed on how to ensure
long-term protection of this unique marine wilderness area.
